Privacy Policy

Simple version: Domino Social Club has no user accounts, no ads, and no tracking. Your scorekeeping data stays on your device unless you choose to share a live game.

Domino Social Club ("the App", "we", "us") is a domino scorekeeping app. This policy explains what information the App handles and how.

1. Information we handle

Data stored only on your device. Your matches, teams, player names, scores, round history, settings, language, and optional display name are saved locally on your phone and are not sent to us unless you use live sharing. This data is removed if you delete the App.

Data stored in the cloud when you share a game. Only when you choose to share a game do we sync the current shared session and previously completed matches stored locally on that device to the session's shared history in Google Firebase / Cloud Firestore. People with the game code can follow the live game and view that completed-match history. This can include team names, player names, scores, rounds, a short game code, the display name you enter, and an anonymous identifier created for your device. Active unfinished matches are not added to History.

Anonymous authentication. To enable live sharing, the App uses Firebase Anonymous Authentication, which creates a random identifier for your device. It is not linked to your name, email, phone number, or any personal account.

What we do not collect: we do not collect your email, phone number, contacts, photos, precise location, or advertising identifiers. The App contains no third-party advertising.

2. How we use information

We use information to run scorekeeping on your device and to power live game-following when you choose to share a game. We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.

3. Service providers

Cloud features are provided by Google Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore. Data sent for live sharing is processed and stored on Google's servers. See Google's Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy.

4. Data retention and deletion

On-device data: remove it any time by deleting the App. Shared game data: shared game records may remain in our database after a game ends. To request deletion, contact us at the email below and we will remove it.

5. Security

We use Google Firebase security infrastructure and access rules to protect data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to safeguard your information.

6. Children's privacy

The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13 or the equivalent minimum age in your country. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your information. Because the App does not require an account, most data is under your direct control on your device. For shared-game or anonymous data, contact us to make a request.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the effective date above and, for significant changes, provide notice in the App or store listing.
